About the Foundation

Riverland Community College Foundation raises, manages, and distributes resources to support, enhance, and promote the educational opportunities Riverland Community College offers the people of our region.

We accomplish our mission by:

  • Raising funds for scholarships, program enhancements, leadership development, and academic program equipment and technology
  • Cultivating regional partnerships with business, industry, and foundations
  • Advocating for the college and its students
  • Developing relationships with alumni and engaging them in supporting current students as a volunteer, mentor, and a variety of other opportunities

Riverland Community College Foundation is a nonprofit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) corporation that is structurally separate from the College and governed by an appointed Board of Directors. The Foundation was formed because private gifts are needed to strengthen Riverland’s programs and provide critical support for students through giving programs, future gift planning, and special gift campaigns.
